The Leaves are Changing

Spring has certainly reared its fingers here in my neck of the woods. I noticed my puppy had a flea on him. I have been sneezing like a fool. The bugs are buzzing rampantly at my porch light. Claritin here I come!

With all the changes occurring because of spring, I've tried to do some personal retrospection. Damn! That can be too challenging for a simple mortal, but I think I'm availing the mountain.

First, I finally bit the bullet and met with an attorney. We are going to take the plunge and file for the dreaded chapter 7. It's high time we did. Coming up with the money is going to be difficult, but we will manage it somehow.

Second, I'm starting to get worked up about living a healthier, more productive, life style. It didn't help that my five year old told me I looked like I had a baby in my belly. Ha. Babes. Or bastards...

Third, I'm really concentrating on the PhD portion of my life. I think I'm ready to jump into those shark infested waters. I've just got to get the financial aspect of life in order first.

I guess it doesn't really matter what season of the year it is. If I'm making positive changes in my life, then I'm making progress as a person. I can't knock that-even if I'm slow to bloom. At least I'm an annual! :)

Digital Delights

So, I downloaded this neato app called Blogger. The best part?! Free!!!! Maybe, maybe, maybe this will help me with my sordid and sorry attempts at blogging!! So far, I think it might be working.

Okay.  Apparently, I really suck at this whole goal thing! I can't tell you how long it's been since I actually started this blog business, but I can tell you it's been too long.  My original goal of writing for 30 days was an epic fail!

I just can't seem to get my shit together.  Life happens in such a way sometimes that my head is left reeling. 

I'm hoping now that blogger has an app for the iphone that I'll be able to do this blogging business a little more.  Only time will tell.
